The million-dollar question: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Here's a quick test. Have you ever told a lie, stolen anything, or been disobedient to your parents? God gave you life—do you love Him more than anything else? The Bible says we have to be perfect to make it to Heaven. We all need God's forgiveness. The Bible also warns that anyone guilty of breaking the Ten Commandments (we just looked at four of them), will end up in a place of punishment called Hell. However, the Bible says that God is "rich in mercy," and sent His Son Jesus, to suffer and die on the cross for all who broke God’s Law. We broke God's rules, but Jesus took our punishment. God can let us go free because of what Jesus did: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Then Jesus rose from the dead and defeated death. Turn from sin today. God promises everlasting life to all who trust in Jesus. Then read your Bible daily and obey it.
