He also worked as an Associate Director of Development for his alma mater, Princeton University, and in management positions for both IBM and PepsiCo.

Previously, he served as a member of National Fatherhood Initiative's board of directors. Roland received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Yvette, have two sons.
