The Relationship of Rules and Relationships

February 12, 2009
The Emerging Village
As we struggle to make sense of anything in the maelstrom of change in the 21st century post modern age, some groups emphasize relationships over rules, and some emphasize rules over relationships. Some have jettisoned truth. Some have jettisoned relationships. Hear the lonely voices of a few fathers crying out for a renewal of both authentic, objective truth and authentic relationships (or reality) in a day where some of us are missing reality.
This program represents the core of what the Generations ministry is all about - a message that needs to be heard by millions of people in a lost and lonely world.

Christians who Support Infanticide How would you look at those Jews who supported child sacrifice in the Israel's compromised era of Baal worship? What about Christians who supported the Roman games where Christians and slaves were killed by the thousands in the coliseums? What about those Christians that not only support abortion and infanticide themselves, but would support the government funding of international abortions and candidates that publicly endorse the killing of children born alive in Illinois abortion clinics? In the 2008 elections, protestants went for the infanticide candidate, 45%-54%, and Catholics went for him, 53%-47%.Kevin Swanson speaks of the bounds of Christian ecumenicity, and the role of the church in teaching biblical morality and exercising church discipline, in this controversial segment of the Generations broadcast.

Wade Meyers, president of Venture Academy, 5X CEO, and consummate entrepreneur presents some wise advice for our young graduates as they head towards creating a family economy. How do you prepare your children for business success in today's volatile economy?
