The New Jersey Suicide
Tyler Clementi, a man reputedly leading worship at an evangelical church in New Jersey, takes a leap off the George Washington bridge, after he was unwillingly "outed" on internet video for his homosexual behavior. The story has caused quite a stir across the nation. Occasionally, you will have somebody who is not willing to admit his sinful condition to brothers and sisters with whom he is in fellowship, and neither is he willing to be honest about the fact he wants to apostatize from the faith. The man feels caught, because of his inauthenticity on both accounts. These conditions become increasingly common in the present apostasy away from the Christian faith in the West.
Kevin Swanson explains why a burned out heterosexual society will eventually turn into a burned out homosexual society. But what do Christian parents do about the rising trend of homosexual clothing, homosexual media, homosexual schools, and homosexual attitudes? How will churches avoid the inexorable slide into Gomorrah?
