Cracks in the Liberal Agenda
Conservativism is dying. But so is liberalism. As a nation begins to fall apart, all of the "proposed solutions" come to naught. Meanwhile, Christians are working to accommodate a "larger tent." And the gods of the copybook headings limp up to explain it once more. Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner are outrageously optimistic for an altogether different agenda, on Generations.

Family Films After 100 years of centralized control of film production and distribution in the hands of a very few power-brokers, now the markets are breaking home for decentralization of media and culture. In this exciting interview with Steve Morales from Freedom Film Distributors, Kevin Swanson talks about bringing film production and distribution into family economies across the country (and around the world).

Building New Dikes The Political Dikes that keep government tyranny from crushing our villages are weakening. It’s all we can do to keep our fingers and toes in the dikes under the severe onslaught of socialism and the destruction of the family (the only real bastion against total socialism). But we’re building new dikes. A new generation is rising up with a stronger sense of family solidarity, and a desire to defend our freedoms. Here Kevin Swanson interviews Aaron Watson from Teen Pact about a program that has been equipping young Christian teens on biblical principles in government, and the importance of involvement in the civil sphere.

Patrick Henry College How many Daniel's and Esther's are being raised now in the kitchens and living rooms across this country? And, how might God use them to salvage liberties for His people in the year 2025? Dr. Brian Ray's study on "Homeschooling Grows Up," found that homeschoolers (18-25 years of age), were 14X more likely to be involved civically in political campaigns. Now there are Christian colleges like Patrick Henry College that are preparing these young people to make an impact on their society in the areas of politics and the judicatory. PHC is in the news after winning the National Moot Court Championship competition again, making this the 4th win out of 6 years. In this segment of Generations, Kevin Swanson interviews college chancellor, Michael Farris and the students who took home the win - Rachel Heflin and Jenna Lawrence.

A Revolutionary Force in Society Eighty nations are experiencing birth implosions. There are less children in the world today than there were in 2000. The Muslims will take over Europe, and South Korea is on the edge of extinction. A very important accommodation to the existentialism of Sartre came by way of a scientific breakthrough made available to the public in 1960. The scientific breakthrough that revolutionized society in the 20th century? The Pill. Kevin Swanson interacts with the psychology of the Pill, the effects of the Pill, and the ethics of the Pill on its 50th anniversary, in this edition of Generations.

The Utter Destruction of the Family There is 20 times the incidence of child sexual abuse in shacked-up homes than in the biblical norm of homes with married biological parents! And 10 times the physical abuse! And 10 times the emotional abuse! That according to the Dept of Health and Human Services, Study of Child Abuse and Neglect. The godless, family-destroying, cultural institutions have done their best to bring about this horror. But how are we ever going to win this cultural battle now? All trends point to these indexes being at least seven times worse in another 20 years from now. There are a few radio programs out there that are doing their best to salvage Christian culture and social conditions. But why are we failing? Kevin Swanson addresses comments from Dr. James Dobson and Brannon Howse, and talks real solutions to our cultural milieu on this edition of Generations.

Just Taxation In the which Kevin Swanson double checks Obama's FY2010 budget against the CPI, and finds a discrepancy. Meanwhile, state governments are responding to the economic crisis by raising taxes, just to ensure complete impoverishment of their states. When speaking of good government though, Kevin Swanson points out that it was a longer way from Nero to George Washington (in the western world), than from George Washington down to Barack Obama.

A Defense of Tim Tebow Homeschooled, Heisman Trophy winner, Tim Tebow honors his mother and defends life on a national television spot scheduled to play during the Super Bowl. The Generations boys toss a few Kudos his way. But then you have Joy Behar from “The View” suggesting that abortion might have been an appropriate choice for Tim’s mom, seeing as there was no way she could have known that he wouldn’t have been a “rapist pedophile” - spoken like a good pragmatist in a universe of meaningless existence! Lots of fun on this edition of Generations.

The State of Socialism in America The State of the Union Speech is pretty much the State of Obama, on this edition of Generations. Americans aren't happy. 'The Messiah' was a disappointment. And, they're looking for a better socialism. Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner review the top agenda items on the minds of most Americans, as per a recent survey from Pew Research - confirming once more than Americans are solidly socialist, and they are looking for the best socialist leaders that are the most accomplished at promising them salvation from their troubles.

The Integration of a Life Author of a terrific new book, "A Father's Stew," Stephen Beck paints a picture of a father's life on this edition of Generations. Life is a sculpture or a woven mosaic. Beck insists that a father must integrate family, work, and ministry into one big 'ol stew. Too many fathers compartmentalize their lives, and in the process destroy their families. Listen to this program and get ready for a paradigm shift in the way that you view life.

Interview: Sofia and Elizabeth Botkin In a Eros-filled society, people hardly know how to relate to each other, and the problem is particularly difficult for our unmarried young men and women. The Botkin sisters join us again on this edition of Generations to talk about "The things our father taught us about young men." Too many young men and women avoid each other or create odd romantic ideas about the opposite gender. This helpful interview will strengthen the guy-girl (read brother-sister) relationships in your church community. We would recommend this as an excellent teaching tool for families and churches, where young men and women, boys and girls interact.
