How do we train our children to be world-impactors without giving way to pride or fatal synthesis? Kevin Swanson interviews Les Riley from Personhood Mississippi on family activism. Christian presuppositions are no longer taken for granted in the Western world. There is a widening gap between Christians who take the Bible seriously and non-Christians in America. Does this portend persecution? How do we interact with a world that speaks a different language and lives a different culture? Dr. David Feddes is a pastor of a Family Discipleship Church in Monee, Illinois, and serves as a director for the Christian Leadership Institute (training internationally in Christian leadership). With the rotting facades of the old "faith" falling and authentic Christianity rising in the West, we are looking at huge opportunities for growth in the Christian faith in the next 40 years!

We have a lot of hope for the Todd Akin’s of the world, but we’re quickly losing hope in the Republican Party. Bloomberg.com points out that recessions are typically associated with lower birth rates (with materialistic, self-oriented cultures). And lower birth rates lead to depressions. There’s not a lot of hope for the Republican Party left in most of us principled conservatives. And there’s not a lot of hope for saving this nation from a massive depression. However, there still is hope!

The Southern Poverty Law Center puts the Family Research Council on their Hate List before some fellow gets into the FRC and shoots up the place. Moscow forbids Gay Pride Marches for the next 100 years, while California is going the opposite direction. Meantime, in the UK a murdering cannibal gets Lap-Band surgery on the taxpayer's dime. You can't make up this stuff! Without the law of God, it's going to be chaos out there!

California is already indoctrinating children in homosexual ideologies in public schools by legislative mandate. Now the state is planning to go after Christian families and homeschool families who exhort their children on a biblical view on homosexuality. Is it time for all Christian families to leave California? While the California legislature is leading the nation in the edgy, sodomy stuff, what is it with California theologians? One "conservative" Christian theologian from Westminster Seminary West is also moseying towards support for domestic partnerships.

Genocide Watch has recently announced the highest level of concern for genocide against the Boers in South Africa. Thousands of farmers and their families have been tortured and killed already. Online dating sites are a relatively new phenomenon, and there is little data to confirm their usefulness over the long haul. As parents, we want to see our children launched into good, solid marriages. Do you want your children marrying the "covenant-breaking" type, or the "covenant-keeping" type? How would you know the difference? Kevin Swanson also comments on the weakness of the modern concept of "engagement" on this edition of Generations.
