Twas a few nights before Christmas -- and Brooke's got major growing pains. When she leaves the family snowball fight to deliver a fresh plate of cookies to Grace, she realizes that being the oldest isn't all it's cracked up to be.
If you were a young child and God put a wonderful idea for a great story in your head, what would you do with it? God did that for Beth Culp, the writer of Down Gilead Lane! He gave her the idea for the story of Grace and the Morrison’s when she was very young. She knew she needed to write it down and planned to someday use it to write a book. Pretty forward thinking for an eleven-year-old!
Today, that story is called Down Gilead Lane and is produced by CBH Ministries as a radio drama. The characters in the episodes are mostly people from Beth’s past that she has woven into the scripts. They come alive as she creates scenes showing their strengths and weakness as Christians and their needs as unsaved characters. What a gift God has given Beth and we praise God she’s using it for His glory!
