Most of us have suffered from the “I’m-all-alone” syndrome. We are all susceptible to discouragement. There is probably no worse feeling than that we are all alone in life’s struggles. It is just during these times when we must learn to lean, not on our feelings, but on God’s Word.

One day the disciples were sure to be soaked in discouragement as the events unfolded surrounding the crucifixion of Jesus. Suddenly, Jesus appeared on shore of the Sea of Galilee and promptly demonstrated to them that all was under HIS control. Jesus still stands on the shore of our lives ready to bring to us the miracle of his sovereign presence and the power of God’s grace.
