Mitt Romney has become the likely candidate for to run for President of the United States on the Republican ticket in the upcoming election this November. As he has been thrust into the public eye it is probable that his faith as a Mormon will lead to a lot of interest in the Mormon faith. We will be taking advantage of this by comparing the teachings of The Church Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints (Mormons) with the teachings of orthodox Christianity.

The purpose is two-fold: first, we must know the truth. We should know something about other religions. As we study other religious beliefs, we will better understand our own. Second, we will be better prepared to accurately communicate the gospel
to others. Our ability to communicate clearly is absolutely essential if we are to be effective ambassadors of Christ.
