Isaiah 42 has the first Servant Song with the last one being the famous passage in Isaiah 53. This is a prophetic depiction of God's promised Servant, the Messiah. The nature of the One to come would have the qualities of a servant. This Servant will not have the usual servile qualities we might associate with this world. This Servant will come to serve God to serve him in power yet still a servant. This might seem like a contradiction. In fact, when God's Servant did enter the world the world did not recognize him.

Take the time to carefully listen to this message. Allow God's Servant to apply God's tender message to your heart. He will do it in a way only a servant can.
