Worldview Curriculum for Teens

This may sound like something you heard over and over again growing up and you promised never to repeat it as an adult...but it’s true!

Our thoughts determine our actions, so we’d better be thinking.

As Christians, we are called to love God with our whole being...the mind included.

However, the real issue at stake isn’t just what we’re thinking; it’s HOW we’re thinking. How do we sort through all the different messages we hear and determine what is right and true?

Chuck Colson and Teen Mania partnered to create the Rewired teen worldview curriculum to teach teens HOW to think Christianly.

A relationship with Jesus is more than Scripture memorization and Sunday church attendance. Knowing Christ radically alters the way we understand life, the world, and all reality. It’s a total worldview.

And when teens have a Christian worldview, they will better understand how to integrate their faith into every aspect of their lives.

Rewired was co-produced by renowned worldview thinker Chuck Colson and cutting-edge youth ministry Teen Mania. This innovative curriculum tackles four key worldview questions and explores how those answers impact teens’ ideas, beliefs, and attitudes – concerning everything from life-or-death issues such as abortion and doctor-assisted suicide, to everyday dilemmas of what outfit to wear to school or what music to download. The four questions are:

Where did I come from?
What’s wrong with the world?
What can be done to fix it?
What is my purpose?

Students will examine prevalent false ideas and assumptions promoted through culture, learning to identify even subtle distortions. And they will study the Christian perspective, learning to counter false ideas with confidence and clarity so they can impact the beliefs of others as well.
