References: Ephesians 5
We tend to think of submission as shelving our rights and being under control or enslaved by another. But that's not the submission modeled by Jesus or expected of the believer. It's about being content with not always getting our way, or subordinating our desires and goals to those of other people. Dr. Kroll looks at the issue of submission among believers, especially between wives and husbands, where it imitates Christ as a voluntary act based in love. Love is required of husbands; love that sacrifices to care for the needs of the wife and follows Christ's example.
