God's household of faith has all sorts of people in it, but unity is to be a defining characteristic of the Church. How is that possible? Dr. Kroll looks at the foundation of our unity--Jesus Christ--who is also the Head of the Body. And then we'll outline seven unities of the Christian faith: one Body, believers gathered into Christ; one Spirit, the Holy Spirit living in all Christians; one hope, regarding our future with God; one Lord, Jesus Christ who is the only one worthy of our worship; one faith, gifted by God to all who receive salvation; one baptism, through which the Spirit places us into the Body; and one God and Father of all, the Creator who made us in His image and exercises His power through His people.
