LISTEN TO THIS WEEK'S BROADCAST
Blessed Are the Pure in Heart
Monday, November 16, 2009
God did not leave us alone to muddle through life, helpless. God sent his Son. One day Jesus took the time to sit on a mountainside to let us in on a few secrets of the kingdom of heaven. The problem is that we all have a problem that prevents us from even listening to him. That is why Jesus would often preface many of his teachings with the phrase: "Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear." Not everyone will hear. The problem is not with the ears. The problem lies with our hearts.
We go to a cardiologist for the heart. How about a cardiologist for the spiritual heart? Who better than the Great Physician to give us HIS diagnosis of health: "Blessed are the pure in heart." Stop what you are doing, listen to, and, "hear" this message.

The Sanctity of Marriage CD
by Jim Reed
Some Pharisees asked Jesus about marriage. He referred his questioners back to creation:
"Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate" (Matthew 19:4-6).
Jesus gave explicit instructions that we were not to separate what God has joined together. We live in an age of confusion about the institution of marriage. When the basic foundation of marriage is lost we will lose the basic foundation of civilization. For a donation to the ministry of Christian Life Tools you will be sent an audio CD entitled "The Sanctity of Marriage." This is a 45 minute sermon based on the text of Matthew 19.
