Guys doing 40 to life for armed robbery are loving their kids and teaching these precious children God's Word as they sit in a maximum security prison. Asylum in America Occasionally, people still come to America for political asylum. This is the case with the Uwe Romike family, who escaped Germany for the intense persecution experienced by a few families there who have rejected a materialist worldview-indoctrination for their children. Apparently, schools in Germany are so naturalist and materialist in their metaphysics, they do not teach the children to fear God in the science classes – a fundamental constituent of a hard-edged secularism.
