Modern man finds the sovereign hand of God over the fires and the floods as utterly abhorrent. . .for several reasons. If there is a god, in their view He must be nice, because we’re all so nice, and all. . . If these nations do not learn something of the fear of God, what will happen to them?

The left is more interested in imposing salvation by the state with ineffectual crusades and do-gooder agendas. Their imposed salvations become more tyranny, more taxation, and more frustration and futility for all. They miscalculate badly concerning the nature of man and the purpose of civil government. We point to the guy who was sentenced 15 years for blaspheming the god of homosexuality, and burning an $8.00 flag. Of course, it’s taxpayers who will carry the bill of $450,000 for room and board for this guy. The taxpayers have pretty much earned it. They elect their leaders. But, the root of it all — a really bad worldview.
