Polygamy Legalized in America - But Will Pastors Stand Against Incest?

December 18, 2013
As expected, polygamy is now legal in America, after a federal judge ruling. But what is of real interest is the New Covenant - Two Kingdom pastors approving of incest now. A Westminster West Grad approves of incest. Kevin Swanson encourages the seminary to take a stand against incest, on the basis of God's law. At the hind end of a diminishing empire, what will the churches do? Reject God's law, or perish with the rest?

The Nehemiah Institute has conducted the PEERS Worldview test on kids from Christian families for over 25 years. Year after year, these "Christian" kids attending "Christian" schools and Public schools test lower and lower on the worldview scale. They have less adherence to a Christian worldview and more adherence to a secular humanist worldview. The only group registering any improvement are homeschooled children. Dan Smithwick has been faithfully administering this test, and witnessing the destruction of the Christian faith amongst our young people. The problem is severe, and Christian churches and families should take note, or there will be few Christians left in another ten years.

According to a Boston College economist, America is in worse fiscal shape than Detroit! He's collect signatures from 1000 economists and 15 Nobel prize winners to make his case in Washington. But the good news is that the Repubs and Dems have cut 3% off the deficit for 2014 (not the debt). But Kevin Swanson shares the real good news - Jesus Christ is the most significant figure in history and will remain so forever.

The Generations team reviews Franky Schaeffer's uncertain worldview, and Kathryn Joyce's list of sins in her condemnatory article of "conservative" homeschooling families. We sidle up to explain that the emperor has no clothes, Mr. Schaeffer has no basis for truth, and Ms. Joyce has no basis for ethics. What seems to motivate these folks is a passion for apostasy. Together with Richard Dawkins, they seem to serve as the apostate evangelists of the day.

There is a battle of law systems, a battle of "rights" going on. A Colorado judge declared sexual rights trumping religious rights, fining a baker for refusing to make a wedding cake for a same-sex ceremony. The clergy housing tax exemption is on the chopping block now, and so is public prayer in legislative meetings. Either pastors will engage the battle, or they will subject themselves to more persecution in the years to come. Kevin Swanson points out that the "two-kingdom" theology paves the way for the persecution of the church.

Every religion has its saints. Even the secular humanists have their saints, and when they die the whole world turns out for their funerals. Here Kevin Swanson lists ten qualifications for sainthood, in case anybody aspires to become another Saint Lefty. Who are your saints? Who you consider to be a saint pretty much defines your faith. Mentioned on this program include the likes of Harvey Milk, Senator Ted Kennedy, Margaret Sanger, Mark Twain, and others.

While the left is working hard for acquiring a personhood status for chimps, children with spina bifida are quickly losing status. Kevin Swanson also comments on the sexualization of children at earlier ages, which can only produce more pedophilia and other forms of sexual sin and sexual dysfunctionality.

While the West is breaking down, the Nigerian Anglican bishops are threatening a withdrawal from the U.K. communion. Taiwan organizes a pro-family march that draws 200,000. We realize the Western press didn't cover these stories, but we just thought you wanted to hear the good news. BTW, the birth rate of Nigeria is 5.8 and the GDP Delta is over 6%. We couldn't be more excited about the potential in Africa and Asia.

According to recent international studies, America spends the most on education and gets the least. Incredibly, America has fallen in the national studies in reading, science, and mathematics - not registering down around the nations with the worst economic problems (Greece, Italy, etc.). Of the O.E.C.D. countries, America slipped from 11th place to 21st place in reading, and takes the dead last position in Mathematics. In response, an American judge remands homeschoolers to the public school despite their excellent academic work. Kevin Swanson gets to the root of the issue, by defining the purpose and goals for a Christian education.

Kevin Swanson steps into the Hip Hop Kerfuffle that appears to have interrupted the progress of Christendom in the West, at least if you happen to play on the internet. As we define ourselves, are we more defined by the people we do not like, or by the people or person that we do like? Kevin Swanson takes a look at the general negativity of the internet, and what to do about it.
