Judgment and Mercy in Haiti

February 12, 2010

Interview: Doug Phillips
Haiti may be the most impoverished and the most evil nation on earth. Justice is a lost cause. Tyranny and corruption prevail. After losing at least a quarter million people in one of the worst natural disasters of the last century, some ministries wonder if this could be the breakthrough that opens up opportunities to reach the nation with real discipleship in the Gospel of Christ. Vision Forum’s Doug Phillips gives a first hand report on the cataclysmic devastation, the death, and the chaos in the aftermath of the earthquake. Yet, it is here that light shines through the darkness, and the contrast between good and evil is strikingly sharp. Mercy does triumph in judgment, every time. But judgment isn’t fun.
