Guest host Adam McManus [www.AdamMcManus.net] talks to Mike Berry, Senior Counsel for Liberty Institute, about the right of a coach to exercise his freedom of religion. Since 2008, Coach Joe Kennedy of Bremerton, Washington was inspired by the film "Facing the Giants" to kneel down and pray a short, 30-second personal prayer at the 50-yard line -- long after the football game had concluded. He thanks God for his players, for the privilege of coaching and for their safety. After learning of Kennedy's personal prayer in 2015, the Bremerton School District not only issued a written demand that he cease and desist, but ultimately placed him on paid leave, prohibiting him from coaching the final football game of the season.
