We Must Never Fight Against God Part 2

February 14, 2020

It is a human thing to run into conflicts with others to some degree or another. Wherever there are two or more people together there will always be conflicts. There are a variety of survival mechanisms that people develop, and many times people use these same mechanisms with God because it has become a pattern. But we can never pull the wool over God eyes on anything. We should always, at the very least, treat him with the utmost respect even if we disagree with him.

The complete rule of God in all of the universe and in all of creation is more than obvious in the past, present and will continue to be in the future. For centuries men have clenched their fists at God. They have gritted their teeth and attempted to spit at the face of God and continue to do it every single day. History is covered with the wreckage of men and nations that have attempted to fight against God, to no avail. We would do well to learn from their lesson.

Let’s continue our learning journey through this topic to remind ourselves where we fit in God’s plan. As mentioned before, the intentions of these early settlers were mainly religious in nature. The purpose of the Pilgrims being spiritual in nature opened up a whole new chapter in the way colonization of countries was done. It was usually done by conquest, ambition, plunder and glory. But with the Pilgrims, God was clearly stepping in and changing the world scene with something totally different.

The faith of America’s Founders has been a source of controversy since the nation’s inception. Since we know that God is in control of history, and he is involved in its development, this clearly helps us to connect the events that followed as being a God thing in his desire to settle the North American continent guided by his hand. God will use any person or people who choose him as their sovereign ruler.

Where you were born and where you live is no accident. Why do I say this with such assurance? Because you are created in the image and likeness of God. Every person and nation follow a philosophy of life that either makes them better or they are worse for it. What is the most accurate proven philosophy in all of human history? What was America’s philosophy that gave it its greatness?

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life" (Proverbs 13:12). Our job is to keep producing that faithful remnant in every generation by striving to learn God’s truth, discern his will and implement it in our lives and pass it on to our children and our children’s children. Good seeds never die!

Hope can only be maintained as we treasure and preserve truth and pass on that torch in the marathon of life to the next generation. Much like a torch or baton is relayed and passed on in a race. We must be encouraged by the hope we see in our generation and in the next. There are vital and indispensable pillars in every society if that society, nation or civilization stands a chance of not only surviving but thriving. Let us briefly review them.

No one can live without hope. It is what helps us face a new day with all its challenges. Hope is to have desires, wishes and expectations, feelings that something may occur, it is anticipation that a good break in life is just around the bend. It is aspirations, goals, aim, ambition and optimism, but most of all it's faith and confidence.

Do you know the meaning of the saying, “there is no such thing as a free lunch”? The economic theory establishes that any goods and services offered must be paid by someone, “you do not get something for nothing.” Please don’t misunderstand or confuse this topic with lack of compassion for those who truly need our help. That is not the perspective of our subject in this program. Every generation that overlooks or ignores the behaviors of the past as well as the present social trends puts a greater burden on the next generation.

Without going too far into history, it is sufficient to be reminded of the most destructive century in the history of the world, namely, the 20th century. Frankenstein’s monster makes its appearance in the different scenarios of social life. The ideas of socialist-centered planning believe that man is all there is in this world and in the universe. Therefore, the universe revolves around man and with the help of the leadership and political control of the Victor Frankensteins of the world they can fundamentally transform society and fulfill people's expectations of the change they have been waiting for.

Even Jesus was challenged in his authority and that is not a bad thing. We must always verify the authority behind a person, opinion or action. The problem with the religious leaders is that after they witnessed the authority of Jesus or it was explained to them, they did not accept it. During his earthly ministry, it is important to note that his authority was manifested in the manner of his teaching.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
