Accusations Without Credible Evidence is Evil Part 2

March 7, 2019

"He who guards his mouth protects his life, but the one who opens his lips invites his own ruin" (Proverbs 13:3). What happens when someone lies to you? Guarding what we say is of utmost importance because a person is only as good as his or her word. A person whose word is no good cannot expect to be trusted. Their words will be of little value. One who practices lying is committing a serious offence in the sight of God. It is among the abominations that God hates and condemns.

Slandering a person is serious, serious business. Yet we have seen an increase in this activity, and we must address it. Names and careers are being ruined. The damage many times is irreparable and a person’s credibility and character will have been damaged beyond repair. The behavior of bearing false witness, or lying, is so serious before God that he made it one of his Ten Commandments to make it clear how he views this action. Join us as we explore this topic further.

The goal is to always be a church reformed by the Word. And that reformation will produce and reproduce Christ’s church throughout the ages. Everyone of us has to choose if we are going to be a part of that body of Christ against the very gates of hell or not. The right spiritual foundation is still there; it is still intact despite the distortions of man because that foundation is Jesus Christ.

Liberal theology and humanism crept into Christianity because not enough people were vigilant to defend the sound doctrine. To liberal theology, the God of the Bible is an embarrassment. They hate the Old Testament because there are too many “thou shalts" and "thou shalt nots.” In many cases, Christianity has been reduced to something that is no more meaningful than nursery rhymes. The power of God's law lives on in spite of those who go out of their way to distort it. The truth cannot be suppresed.

Humanity has always tried to displace God and declare the greatness of man. The Enlightenment was an intellectual and philosophical movement that celebrated human reason and propelled the liberal dream. God is not against reason, because he designed mankind to be critical thinkers. The woldviews and philosophies we choose to embrace will influence our beliefs and actions.

History is there to teach us as to what works. It is a wealth of information if we are willing to learn its lessons. When we combine understanding God's Word with what history has to offer, it then becomes a powerful tool. But, we must be willing to submit our own wisdom for one that is truly superior.

We’re living in interesting times in human history. There are cycles in history when the battle gets even more intense and major shifts happen. We’re watching the dismantling of an entire civilization by people who claim that in doing so they’re liberating humanity. But, liberating them from what? Join us as we explore and seek to understand what is happening around us.

What we see these these days, we are reminded of other times in history that look very similar to today like when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed due to their sinfulness. Is there still time for God to give us an opportunity to turn things around? Let us answer the call to be leaders in this world for God’s purposes and tell the Father, “Here am I, send me.”

God told Samuel not to judge Jesse’s sons based on their outward appearance, but rather to understand that God looks at the heart. This is a very important point in a leader, we must be guided by the Holy Spirit not by our emotions or our criteria to judge people. When you look at yourself and think how God can use you, do you focus on your shortcomings or do you focus on the God of the Universe who has the power to use you for whatever purpose He so desires?

God still looks for people who will do his bidding in every generation and in every part of the world. What leadership qualities does he look for? All that God wants people to know is already in his written Word but it also needs to be imparted to those who don’t know about it. Let us continue to pray for good sound leadership that we may live peaceable lives and get the job done for God’s kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven.

Where are the leaders for our time in the likes of the biblical characters that God used in the past to direct the nation of Israel and the world in the right direction? It is sometimes easy to take those around us for granted, but when we realize God has placed them in our lives to accomplish His purposes, we will have the right perspective. Can you think of ways God is using the people in your life to teach you things and/or prepare you for the future?

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
