The Apostle Paul wasn’t worried about appearing “relevant” to his culture. He wasn’t trying to be cool so that others would like Jesus. He didn’t water down the Gospel just to draw large masses of people. No—the reason his ministry was so impactful is because he continually magnified the Savior. Whether in success or failure, health or suffering, freedom or imprisonment, Paul never made himself look good . . . he just directed people to the One who is good.
