Every Kind of Broken | Naomi Zacharias

October 10, 2016
The problems in the world surround each of us and threaten to overwhelm us. How do we survive it all? And how can we help others who have been crushed by life? Join us as Naomi Zacharias, founder of Wellspring International, tells about her life journeys into the red-light districts of the Netherlands, India, and Thailand; displacement camps in Indonesia, Uganda, and Pakistan; the areas of Southeast Asia devastated by the tsunami of 2004, and much more. Insights from this program can help us face the various kinds of brokenness that we may experience in our own circles and spheres of influence.

About Beyond Words

Beyond Words radio ministry began in 2008 (formerly known as The Vital Connection). Originally the broadcasts were focused upon the community around Dr. William P. Campbell’s church in Hendersonville, NC. Today, Beyond Words has expanded to include guests and topics that address issues facing the church across the nation and world. Guests have included Os Guinness, Dr. Richard Blackaby, Dr. Lloyd Ogilvie, Paul Young, and Dr. Richard Foster. Campbell and his guests have covered topics ranging from revival and prayer to Christian responsibility in business to issues of church and culture. Dr. Campbell has included segments in some broadcasts called “The Amazing Journey,” taking listeners through an overview of the Bible and linking them to study guides offered by BNEXT (formerly called Connections), which is an integral part of Scripture Awakening.

About Dr. William P. Campbell

The son of the founders of Community Bible Study, Bill knows from personal experience that people grow in spiritual depth and Biblical knowledge when they use carefully constructed Bible studies illuminated with well-researched commentary background. Bill saw Community Bible Study develop from his parent’s living room to an international ministry serving many thousands of people. Having written commentaries for Community Bible Study, he began writing material for the churches he pastored so that he could connect Sunday sermons to weekly devotional reading and small group Bible studies. He tested and improved materials in congregations over a period of 15 years, and through his Divinity Ministry studies at Fuller Theological Seminary, he researched the most effective ways to build the Connections ministry. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Seminary and a Bachelors of Biology from Westmont College. Bill has written a variety of articles, publications, and authored one book published by Zondervan. Bill serves as Executive Director and President of the Board for Scripture Awakening, and pastors First Presbyterian Church in Hendersonville, NC.
