References: Hebrews 11

Among the forest of giant redwoods, lay what was thought to be the mightiest tree of them all.  What was it that brought it down?  A big storm?  High winds?  No.  In fact, what rangers discovered was that the heart of this great tree had been eaten away by tiny insects.  We too have the tendency to fall big when we allow our hearts to be consumed by the menace of greed, lust and pride.  Today, Pastor Steve shares the good example of Abel, a young man whose heart was pure, and whose worship to God was acceptable.

The Normal Christian Life
The Normal Christian Life is Watchman Nee's great Christian classic unfolding the path of faith and presenting the eternal purposes of God in simple terms. Watchman Nee (1903 - 1972) is remembered for his leadership of an indigenous church movement in China as well as for the books that continue to enrich Christians throughout the world. Beginning in the 1930s, he helped establish local churches in China that were completely independent of foreign missionary organizations and were used to bring many into the kingdom ofGod.
