References: Genesis 8

"Failure" has been defined as "not falling down, but staying down." And what we often need in times of complete breakdown is simply a fresh start; a chance to go back to the beginning without the baggage of the past. A new start is what the world was given when the Lord told Noah to build an Ark. The Lord then cleaned up the corruption of the past in just 40 days and nights with a bit of water. Now it was time to give this thing called "humanity" another shot. But as we'll discover in our study of Genesis 9 and 10, when humanity got back on its feet, it continued to struggle with sinful tendencies. Follow along now as Pastor Steve wraps up his lessons on Noah and the Ark.

The Normal Christian Life
The Normal Christian Life is Watchman Nee's great Christian classic unfolding the path of faith and presenting the eternal purposes of God in simple terms. Watchman Nee (1903 - 1972) is remembered for his leadership of an indigenous church movement in China as well as for the books that continue to enrich Christians throughout the world. Beginning in the 1930s, he helped establish local churches in China that were completely independent of foreign missionary organizations and were used to bring many into the kingdom ofGod.
