For many people the Bible seems to be a closed book — a book full of literary figures and ancient history — but with little relevance to personal lives in this day and age. However, this is really not so. The Bible is an exciting book which has survived the passing of time because God authored it — especially for us to understand how we can personally know Him.
About Gil Rugh
Gil Rugh attended Philadelphia College of the Bible and Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana, where he received his B.S. and M.Div. degrees, respectively. In the fall of 1969, Gil began a full-time teaching ministry as Senior Pastor of Indian Hills Community Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. During this time he earned his Ph.D. from the California Graduate School of Theology. The focus of Pastor Rugh's ministry is systematic, verse-by-verse teaching of the Bible. As a Bible teacher, his sermons and publications have been heard and read throughout the United States and in many countries around the world. Gil has written over 45 booklets and many papers on current Christian issues, Christian living and church doctrine.
