The Road to Hell The road to hell is paved with good intentions and the best example of this maxim you will ever find is the government-instituted foster care system. Abandoning God's law as the standard by which we lay out family and state jurisdictions is the real root of the chaos in this government-sponsored monstrosity. Should Christian parents adopt a child unjustly and forcibly removed from a home? Kevin Swanson wades in on a sticky one in this edition of the Generations broadcast.

Interview - Dr. Leonard Sax What in the world has happened to boys since 1970? Fully 1/3 of young men, age 22-34 are still living at home with parents, amounting to a 100% increase over just 20 years. There are 20 times more boys on psychotropic medication than twenty years ago, and the average boy spends 13 hours per week in computer game play. How many hours were we playing "Pong" back in 1978, or Monopoly in 1968? Boys are in trouble, and unless parents begin making different choices now, the problem is bound to get worse in the next 10-20 years. Here, Dr. Leonard Sax, author of a critical new book, "Boys Adrift," discusses the five factors that drive the growing epidemic of unmotivated boys and underachieving young men.

Church and State Attacks on the Family The statist attack on the family since the 1800s has been brutal, and it will take generations to recover from it. But the attack on the family from the sphere of the church in the 1400s was similarly devastating. The return of family discipleship, an appreciation for marriage, and fatherhood was precisely what the world needed then - and it came through the powerful ministry work of men like John Calvin. This interview with Scott Brown brings out the comparison of the 16th century with the 21st century, and challenges us to a Sola Scriptura reformation in the sphere of the family.

Interview: Dennis Peacocke We have inherited Fractional Reserve Banking and Debt-Driven Economies, not to mention Slave-based Corporate Systems, Disintegrated Family Economies, and Big Government Socialism. Ok. Now what? Dennis Peacocke, author of "Doing Business God's Way" provides an exciting vision for building our micro economies out of the mess we find ourselves in. Maybe it's finally time to crack the Word of God, and develop a biblical concept of wealth, work, debt, and family dynasties.

Interview - Tim Challies "For lack of knowledge, my people perish." Should Christians dumb down their theology, and fail in the department of righteous discernment, might they be easily taken by “every wind of doctrine” carried about by 10,000 different sects, denominations, and cults? Happens every time. Internet blogger and author, Tim Challies joins us to discuss the art and the discipline of wise discernment.

Coming Back to Relational Living What's with this Contemporary Service, the Old Fogie Service, and the Nose Ring Service? Because people have been raised in slots and programs over the last three generations, it is hard to find churches where the generations are nicely integrated. Imagine communities where great grandparents, grandparents, parents, and children all sing the same worship songs, where the older women actually mentor the younger women, and there is a deep sense of honor for the older generation! Over the next 30 years of ministry, Kevin Swanson sets out to achieve this kind of cross-generational community, in the harsh winter of post-modern slots, programs, and transience.

Faith ExternalizedHave you ever wondered why you can't find a Precious Moments doll in a Christian book store depicting David holding up the severed, bloody head of Goliath? Have you ever wondered why the Voice of the Martyrs doesn’t sell Thomas Kinkade Drawings? Or have you ever wondered why it is that of the 100s of pictures of Noah's Ark on Google Images, you won't find one with the dead, bloated bodies of millions of people floating around the ark --- a picture that would present the real reason God brought the flood in the first place? 'Here Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner engage a lively discussion on Christian art forms, shallow theology, and what's hanging on their walls.

Dictatorship or Fatherhood - Take Your Pick The pigs are taking over the barn yard down at the Animal Farm. For example, Justice Ginsburg thought Roe V. Wade would limit “populations that we don’t want too many of. . . “ Meanwhile John Holdren, the new Science Czar, writes approvingly of forced abortion and mass sterilization through contaminating the water supplies, and other fun social planning projects. Kevin Swanson explains the history of social planning in the development of our own modern Matrix. Then he points out that there are only two rebels that attempt to break out - anarchists and fathers.

Doing the Hard Work How do you put a broken society full of broken families back together again? It would be easy if you could toss the single moms on to the government welfare programs, and toss their kids into the pagan, public schools that refuse to teach the beginning of knowledge is the fear of God. Plan B is a tougher row to hoe. And you can't do it with a church full of single moms and disengaged dads. A couple of engaged dads in studio - Bob Fine, Dave Buehner, and Kevin Swanson talk to the challenge they have faced over the last nine years working with single moms of faith, who are willing to deal with the spiritual issues and practical issues important in reconstructing their lives (by the power of God). This "divorce recovery workshop" involves the tough life of repentance, humility, and godly submission.

How to Govern a Nation in Decline Kevin Swanson interacts with Governor Sarah Palin's resignation speech, and commends her for her actions. Societies (families, churches, nations, whatever) led by women are societies in decline. But back to the more serious question, "How does one govern a nation in decline?" The first thing you do is go home and raise a godly family and protect your little girls from the Levi Johnstons of the world.
