With the corrosive effects of electronic media in the home, some families are wondering if it's time to become like the Amish? Is it time to get a horse and plow and leave the electronic world behind? How does one strike a balance? An Evangelical Presbyterian Church pastor points out the sharp contrast between American Presbyterian churches and Malawian Presbyterian churches. The Malawian churches are fairly bursting with children, while the American churches are sterile, barren, and dying. He blames homosexuality and abortion. But what about the birth control bill and the abortifacients? What about the existentialist worldview that has seeped into American Christianity? There is also the almost-inevitable generational apostasy happening with White Gentile Christianity in America, Canada, and Europe. Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner talk about what to do when the glory is departing, and apostasy is raging in your generations.

Humanism has virtually killed the Christian faith in Europe, but a faithful remnant made it back into the war of the worldviews over the last two generations. Our backs are against the wall, but we are fighting back and gaining ground! Here, Kevin Swanson points to the ten most impacting books written by Christians in the last 100 years, that represent a return to Christian thought in the war of the worldviews. The purpose of this program is to give some honor to men who went before us in the 1900s. These are the thinkers that introduced or re-introduced the ideas of worldview, antithesis, and distinctive Christian thought while humanism was eroding the foundations, destroying the family, and fragmenting the culture in the west.

The Marxist has written his designs on society to include the destruction of the family in order that they can destroy the private ownership of property.  They understand correctly that the two concepts of property and family are inexorably linked.  As long as there is a Biblical family there will be private property and where there is no private property the family is endangered.   That is why the strategy of usurping the families God-given functions in the areas of child training, economic production and charity have been pursued so vigorously.   Dave Buehner guest hosts with Steve Vaughn to discuss how God’s blueprint for family life is comprehensive including: economics, inheritance, care for the elderly, education, chastisement, charity, household formation and much more.  Only when God’s designs are followed can one expect to receive God’s blessing of life to the full.

Here is a thought-provoking interview you do NOT want to miss!

In this episode of Generations Dave Buehner interviews Lael Weinberger co –author of the new book “A Tale of two Governments” about the separation of Church and State, its roots and some recent court victories for doctrine of two separate governments under God.

The state of Delaware has officially taken a position against parental rights and Biblical child raising—it has approved a law banning spanking. Kevin Swanson suggests that all Christian parents in Delaware should either break the law or—better yet—move to Colorado. Meanwhile, Texas is hiring male administrators in public schools to spank 15-year-old girls. Should public schools administer spanking or birth control pills? On this Generations broadcast, Kevin Swanson addresses the jurisdictional boundaries between the family and the state.
