Devil of a Time

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Yes it's true - I believe that the devil exists.  But only because Jesus did.  And in fact many, many people run into this enemy in their day to day lives. 

Think about this - surveys tell us that over 50% of men in the western world are addicted to pornography.  Where did that come from do you think?  And so many people struggle with this or that - and wonder - how can I ever win?

Well - they can, because the war is won.  And instead of engaging in hand to hand combat with an enemy they can never defeat, there's a better option. 

James Chapter 4, verse 7 says this:  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
In other words, just change camps.  Just go sit smack bang in the middle of the camp of the winning team and from that place, resist the devil … and watch him run.
