Sometimes life can seem so topsy-turvy, so helter-skelter, so willy-nilly that it gives us the heebie-jeebies. In other words, we have no words. We need help. We are beside ourselves.

Jesus’ disciples were in trouble. You would think that the world would honor and welcome a visit from the Second Person of the Trinity. He only came to bring new life to a dead and dying world. No way. They nailed Jesus to a cross. Later, they threw Jesus’ disciples in jail. Talk about topsy-turvy! What did the disciples do? They prayed. There is a Sovereign Lord. He himself will restore order to all the helter-skelter, topsy-turvy and willy-nilly. Today, God will speak HIS order into our universe. What do we do? We pray just like Jesus’ disciples.
