The prophet recalls what God has done; that His glory covered the heavens. As we examine the passage we see that God is holy and He is powerful. In His holiness He hates sin and by His power He sends judgment because of it.
Verse six also tells us that His ways are everlasting. All His works and providences are according to His eternal counsel. He rules and overrules for His glory.
Throughout the Old Testament we see God's servants looking back at what God had done as a reminder that He could handle whatever they faced at the present. Let us not forget that He is just the same today. Opinions about God may change, but He is still the same.

"His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of His praise. And His brightness was as the light; He had horns coming out of His hand: and there was the hiding of His power." Habakkuk 3:3-4

Welcome to the Baptist Bible Hour! Motivated by a desire for God's glory, we exist to call men and women back to the beauty and sufficiency of the Bible. As God's perfect message to every man, woman, and child, this book stands alone in its majesty throughout history and in its contemporary relevancy.
For many people, even Christians, there is a persistent and tragic disconnect between the narrative and instruction that they see in the Bible, and the problems, challenges, and opportunities that they experience in their daily lives. It is our purpose to bridge this great divide with teaching that has depth and gravity, but is at the same time accessible and relatable. To this end, for over 50 years the Baptist Bible Hour has been broadcasting the Word of God, with a particular emphasis on the sovereignty of God in personal salvation and in every detail of life.
