References: Ephesians 4

With this study, Woodrow Kroll tackles one of the most difficult passages in Ephesians, where Paul writes that Jesus descended into the lower parts of the earth. After examining several common interpretations, we'll consider how this concept teaches us that our Savior is the victor over sin. He has triumphed over the world, He is still sinless and that means He's provided you with a way of escape from temptation and sinfulness. Because He lives, we also live. Because He's defeated Satan, that enemy is a defeated foe. And through this, we're reminded that God always keeps His promises.
