Salt makes things taste better, but when it works right you don't notice the salt. When we step out to share our faith with others, we're to be salt, making them understand better and connect better with God, not making it all about ourselves. Dr. Kroll reminds us of what salt was used for and what it means to be a "salty" Christian: one who is a friend to sinners, a purifying agent in a dark and corrupt world, who preserves our moral foundation, and creates a thirst in others for the good things of God.

About Woodrow Kroll and Tami Weissert

Woodrow Kroll's speaking, writing and radio ministries have clearly proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus Christ for more than 30 years. He serves as President of the international ministry Back to the Bible and is heard daily on the nationally-syndicated radio broadcasts Back to the Bible and The Bible Minute. His numerous books include: How to Find God in the Bible, An Interview with God, Places in the Bible and Taking Back the Good Book: How America Forgot the Bible and Why It Matters to You. In his most recent release, Facing Your Final Job Review, Dr. Kroll explores the most important event in a Christian's future, the judgment seat of Christ.

Tami Weissert is the co-host on Back to the Bible. She is also Executive Vice President for the ministry. Through interactive conversations and question and answer sessions with Woodrow Kroll, Tami helps to give listeners ideas of how to apply the biblical insights and principles taught each day on the program.

Prior to joining Back to the Bible in 2000, Tami practiced law with firms in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. Tami and her husband, Jeff, live just outside of Lincoln.
