Nourish and Cherish

So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself;for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church, 30 because we are members of His body. (Ephesians 5:28-29) "he nourishes and tenderly cares for it" (NRSV).
This word, nourish ἐκτρέφω, is used only two times; in Ephesus 5:29 and 6:4.
"Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."
This word, cherish θάλπω, is used only two times; in Ephesus 5:29 and 1 Thessalonians 2:7. But we proved to be gentle among you, as a nursing mother tenderly cares for her own children. Having so fond an affection for you, we were well-pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become very dear to us.
A man with the Spirit of God can discern the heart of his wife. May God lead us to His wisdom!
"You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered." (1 Peter 3:7) Refernece Verse (Jamaes 5:13-16)
