Nicki Cornett's Testimony I

October 27, 2013
Everyone's story is precious and dear to the heart of Jesus. Nicki Cornett shares her story to honor Jesus who redeemed her from many sorrows and pains. She shares her heart with ladies who are in a similar situation and comforts those who are suffering from guilt and shame from abortion. We want to thank and honor God who is gracious and loving toward us. Also we want to thank Nicki Cornett for sharing her precious testimony of Jesus for others. His grace is for you today.

“I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them." (John 10:11-12)

We live in a broken world with full of challenges, failures, and disappointments. As life continues, many unknowns lie before us that can weigh us down, inflicting wounds that often get buried or ignored. We have been created to thrive in our relationships with God, our family, our neighbors and ourselves. By knowing that God is our Good Shepherd, understanding the identity that we have as his precious sheep, we can find rest and healing in our souls. Through this humble book, Healing Through Psalm 23, may God comfort you who are suffering, who are in pain, who need forgiveness; may you know God, walk confidently and grow into the maturity of coming alongside others in their journey of healing.

Here is a beatiful model of the Church of Christ, Apologia Church, on the street. We invited Apologia Church to be with us and share their love for those who are in crisis. Please listen and share this practical love for those who are in a desperate situation. The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall be afraid? When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.     (Psalm 27:1-3)

Interview with Jamie Iwanski and Chelsea Martin from Red Door Ministry.May He send you help from the sanctuary,And strengthen you out of Zion; (Psalm 20:2)What is "The Red-Door?" Historically, red-doors have various spiritual meanings and symbolism. In ancient times, red-doors were a visual symbol to people fleeing from an enemy pursuer trying to end their lives. People knew that they could flee to a home or typically a church with a red-door to find sanctuary and safety in a place where the enemy was not allowed to pursue them. In other words, red-doors were a sanctuary and a place dedicated to the preservation of life where no enemy could pursue the victim. Red-doors meant safety. Red-doors meant peace. Red-doors meant life."The Red-Door Ministry" is a symbol to this culture that prizes pursuing mothers, fathers, and their unborn children in an effort to destroy their lives: the mother & father, in a life of guilt, shame, and brokenness; and their unborn child, murdered by the hands of an abortionist.

Apologia Radio boldly confronts the hard issues of today. Apologia Radio is a Christian radio program that aims to shake the foundation of Christian broadcasting by offering a hard-hitting, Gospel-centered, and culturally-relevant commentary on today's post-modern society. Distinguishing itself from the typical boring and irrelevant theological-jargon all too common in other programs, Apologia Radio boldly confronts the hard issues of today in a manner that is fun, fresh, and practical. In an effort to reach people with the Gospel, culturally relevant issues like abortion, sexuality, and politics as well as competing worldviews/religions are engaged head-on with rigorous Christian examination. Apologia Radio will provide faithful Biblical commentary on these issues that will raise eyebrows and satisfy hungry minds. Above all else it is the sincerest desire of Apologia Radio to equip Christians for effective ministry to a lost and dying world for the sake of their souls and for the growth of His Kingdom. Soli Deo Gloria! Come now, and let us reason together Says the Lord, Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool. (Isaiah 1:18)

In our program, we have been sharing about the letter from Paul to the church of Ephesus. In the book of Acts, there is a description of what the city of Ephesus was like. I happened to visit Ephesus and had the privilege of experiencing the environment that Paul could have been in when he shared the Gospel to those who were suffering from idol worship. I think there is not much of a difference even today between how some are suffering from actual idol worship and others, like in America, suffer from the disguised idol worship through the media to capture people's hearts in so many destructive ways.We had guests from Apologia Radio, Hosts; Jeff Durbin, Joy Temby, Luke Pierson.http://apologiaradio.com/After saying this he dismissed the assembly.(Acts 19:41)
