Interview with Dr. Fred Chay and His Heart for Church

Fred Chay, DMin, PhD

Associate Professor, Theology and Biblical Studies, Director of Doctor of Ministry Program Director of Educational Enhancement, President of Grace Line

My desire is to help train up men and women who will seek nothing more than to "know Christ and make him known". The Apostle Paul put it succinctly, "We proclaim Him admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom so that we may present every man complete in Christ." (Colossians 1:28)

"The best way I know to do that is to follow the Apostle Paul's instructions to Timothy as he said "The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."             (2 Timothy 2:2)

Psalm 23
We live in a broken world with full of challenges, failures, and disappointments. As life continues, many unknowns lie before us that can weigh us down, inflicting wounds that often get buried or ignored. We have been created to thrive in our relationships with God, our family, our neighbors and ourselves. By knowing that God is our Good Shepherd, understanding the identity that we have as his precious sheep, we can find rest and healing in our souls. Through this humble book, Healing Through Psalm 23, may God comfort you who are suffering, who are in pain, who need forgiveness; may you know God, walk confidently and grow into the maturity of coming alongside others in their journey of healing.

Jesus, Immanuel, is Our Hope. For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! (2 Corinthians 9:15)“BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD AND SHALL BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL,” which translated means, “GOD WITH US.” (Matthew 1:23)

Merry Christmas!!! Be kind to one another,tender-hearted, Forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. (Ephesinas 4:32)In suffering, we know (yada) more about Jesus and the heart of God who gave His only Son. We grow in knowing Christ in the midst of suffering. He did not give us what we deserve, which is eternal death instead He gave us the joy of eternal life as His Children. It is easy to watch someone who are transformed by the love of Jesus, but not easy to know (yada) one's life who walked the life of suffering and forgiveness. As I forgive others, I learned more about the forgiveness was not cheap in God's part even if it is free for us. His amazing Love...I would like respect those who are going through the forgiveness process during the Holiday season! May God brings His goodness to your family and pour out His kindness and love in your home! May God protect you and guard you from every evil scheme to destroy our families! May God Bless You during Holiday Season! Grace be with you all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love! (Ephesians 6:24)

We all hope to start our tender beginning, yet in reality; many young women are facing challenges to be women that are different than traditional women who can bring warmth and tenderness at home. Their career or job can hinder having a peaceful home in this generation. We have a picture that a mom should do everything.  God created women as a nurturer. Yet, I would like to share the truth of that harsh beginning of women’s lives in these times and how they are being challenged. For many women, having an abortion was an option, not because those women are evil, but because it was a choice of survival. How do we approach those who are in such a situation where life becomes an inescapable cycle of pain and sorrow? God gives us new mercies every morning. Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. There are New Mercies every morning; great is your faithfulness. (Lamemtations 3:22-23)

Interview with Pastor Mark Martin and Leslie Martin from Calvary Community Church at Phoenix Arizona. Hope starts from facing the truth by the gentle hands of God and being restored as God intends for us to live. Unfortunately, the tender home does not start from when we were born physically, but it starts from when we born again and grow in God’s Spirit. As moms experience the healing touch by our Lord, we bring our home back to the tender home as Karen Moore described. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. (2 Corinthians 3:16) God pours out His grace and covers us with His righteousness at the moment our denial is unveiled. Our denial is caused by the law. But when we come to Jesus, the veil is removed.

I would like to share this beautiful song by Casting Crown, "Fridends of Sinners" withthe message about John 8:1-11.“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.” Oh Jesus, friend of sinners Open our eyes to the world at the end of our pointing fingers Let our hearts be led by mercy Help us reach with open hearts and open doors Oh Jesus, friend of sinners, break our hearts for what breaks yours Yeah... Jesus, friend of sinners, the one who's writing in the sand Made the righteous turn away and the stones fall from their hands Help us to remember we are all the least of these Let the memory of Your mercy bring Your people to their knees Nobody knows what we're for only what we're against when we judge the wounded What if we put down our signs crossed over the lines and loved like You did....

Everyone's story is precious and dear to the heart of Jesus. Nicki Cornett shares her story to honor Jesus who redeemed her from many sorrows and pains. She shares her heart with ladies who are in a similar situation and comforts those who are suffering from guilt and shame from abortion. We want to thank and honor God who is gracious and loving toward us. Also we want to thank Nicki Cornett for sharing her precious testimony of Jesus for others. His grace is for you today. “I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them." (John 10:11-12)
