David got up and finished the war. (2 Samuel 12:24-31)

Romans 8:37-39
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

As life continues, many unknowns lie before us that can weigh us down, inflicting wounds that often get buried or ignored. By knowing that God is our Good Shepherd, understanding the identity that we have as his precious sheep, we can find rest and healing in our souls. Through this humble book, Healing Through Psalm 23, may God comfort you who are suffering, who are in pain, who need forgiveness; may you know God, walk confidently and grow into the maturity of coming alongside others in their journey of healing.

In some case, abortion can be used as a form of abuse; it is extremely devastating event for women and men. In the case of abuse, we should listen to their story and believe them as they share. We have to support those who are wounded and grieving. * Forgiveness does not mean you taking offender's guilt, believing it as yours and placing on you. As long as you do that in the name of being a Christian, you can not be free! Let go of offender's guilt and give it to God. It does not belong to you! When a person who is abused is being constantly mistreated or misjudged, she or he might place the offender's guilt upon himself or herself as an act of forgiveness or being a good Christian. This is extremely harmful for the oppressed. As a leader, we have to be careful how we examine each circumstance and minister them accurately. We will learn this wisdom from studying 2 Samuel 10-12. We are studying about Joab, Eliam, Ahithophel in 2 Samuel 10-12. Understanding the characters and the background of the story in the Bible gives us better insight and understanding of the story. We cannot put every story in our current time to the biblical time. We can get wisdom and apply the lesson as much as we can, but cannot put our story as a cookie cutter to the stories in the Bible. The story of the king David is a particular story in the history and reveals the redemption plan of God and how God dealt with David for the grand scheme of the salvation plan. We all have our own redemption story that unique and different. There is God who listens to our plea. He is our King and listens to our prayer. As we study about the king David, we can experience the heart of God who listens our prayer.

Happy Father's Day!Hello moms!Bullding our fathers for God's kingdom starts from forgiving them and give them more grace everyday. When they feel they are forgiven, they experiece more freedom and are more encouraged to do more and better for us (moms) and our children!"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32,ESV)Cheers!

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. This Bible Study is designed to: • Help the non-believer to experience God’s grace for salvation through justification by His grace. • Help the believer to experience deeper God’s grace for growth through sanctification by His grace. • Help us to read the Bible with eyes of grace and apply it to your lives by offering grace to ourselves and others.

The contents of the books. The first book comprises a period of about a hundred years, and nearly coincides with the life of Samuel. It contains (1) the history of Eli (1–4); (2) the history of Samuel (5–12); (3) the history of Saul, and of David in exile (13–31). The second book, comprising a period of perhaps fifty years, contains a history of the reign of David (1) over Judah (1–4), and (2) over all Israel (5–24), mainly in its political aspects. The last four chapters of Second Samuel may be regarded as a sort of appendix recording various events, but not chronologically. These books do not contain complete histories. Frequent gaps are met with in the record, because their object is to present a history of the kingdom of God in its gradual development, and not of the events of the reigns of the successive rulers. It is noticeable that the section (2 Sam. 11:2–12:29) containing an account of David’s sin in the matter of Bathsheba is omitted in the corresponding passage in 1 Chr. 20. Easton, M. G. (1893). In Easton’s Bible dictionary. New York: Harper & Brothers.

SPECIAL NOTE: MESSAGE ON MEMORIAL DAY, 2015 As we are observing the Memorial Day, I would like to pause a moment to thank those who served our country, the great nation of Unite States of America. We all owe them. One of the ways we can show our honor to their sacrificial life is that we live healthy, constructive life to build our nation within. As solders are responsible for our external security, we, as citizens, are responsible for internal stability. One of the aspects of healthy nation is in valuing LIFE. If the internal health of a nation (emotional, mental and spiritual health) matters, then we cannot omit discussing abortion in the matter of health of our nation.  Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. (Proverbs 1:8-9)

“As a man thinketh, so is he.”by Francis A, Schaeffer. If God is changing, His words are a subject to change; the salvation has no base, uncertain and insecure. However, the words of God says in 1 Peter 1:22-25, Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. For, “ALL FLESH IS LIKE GRASS, AND ALL ITS GLORY LIKE THE FLOWER OF GRASS. THE GRASS WITHERS, AND THE FLOWER FALLS OFF, BUT THE WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER.” And this is the word which was preached to you. James also tells us in James 1:17, KJV; Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. We trust God and God's words because God is unchnaging (Immutable).

There were two gardens in the Bible. One is the Garden of Eden in Genesis 1-3 and the other is the Garden Tomb in John 20. The first one is where the death entered, the other is where the death was conquered. When Eve did not think right, she experienced the pain and sorrow in her life, but when Mary Magdeline met Jesus, her eyes were opened and saw Jesus and found the Life.May God's loving voice and His calling our name personally be a blessing today!Happy Post Easter!

Jesus wants to walk with you and talk with you. In The Garden I come to the garden alone, While the dew is still on the roses, And the voice I hear falling on my ear, The Son of God discloses . . . And He walks with me, and He talks with me, And He tells me I am His own, And the joy we share as we tarry there, None other, has ever, known! C. Austin Miles (1868-1946) was a pharmacist turned hymn writer and church music director. He was also an amateur photographer. One day in March, 1912, while in his dark room waiting for film to develop, Miles had a profound spiritual experience in which he saw an incredible vision of Mary Magdalene visiting the empty tomb. He saw her leave the tomb and walk into a garden where she met the Master and heard Him speak her name. (John 20, ESV)
