When Jesus was washing the disciples' feet at the last supper, Peter's words allow us to appreciate that His understanding of who Jesus is was incomplete.

A man may have plenty of faith and love and yet be sadly lacking clear knowledge. Many a believer, like Peter, make mistakes, lack understanding and yet have a heart right before God and will get to heaven at last.
