Understanding the Times

We air Dr. Mark Hitchcock's 2011 "Understanding the Times" conference message on the Mayan end-of-the-world prophecy. The world didn't end December 21, 2012. The Bible says it will cease at the end of the Millennium but not before. Then we get a new Heavens and a new earth! Jan and co-host Eric Barger talk to Ray Comfort in the first segment. Comfort is using his new book and film on the Beatles for evangelistic purposes. Ray has documented the spiritual journey of the four musicians. Co-host Barger had his early years shaped by the rock group and describes the journey into complete degradation. The three discuss the serious left turn the entire Western culture made due to Beatles influence. Sound bytes are played from Comfort's new film. Then John McTernan joins Jan to discuss the chemical weapons in Syria. Their use could prompt the fulfillment of Isaiah 17 when Damascus becomes a ruinous heap.

Jan and co-host Eric Barger talk to Michele Bachmann (R-MN) about the Benghazi debacle, the global blasphemy law, and much more. Efforts to silence free speech globally will affect everyone soon, even witnessing and Christian book publishing. Yet our White House and State Department are leading the effort to have this happen. Mark looks carefully at the Gog-Magog war found in Ezekiel 38-39, but also considers the general unrest of the region.
