References: Proverbs 3

Wisdom comes in two ways: as a God-given gift and as the result of a whole-hearted search. It begins with God and His Word. And in this study, we'll see three steps that help us make that discovery. First, we're not to think we're wise on our own but to seek God first. Second, fearing the Lord is a key to gaining wisdom, and that means trusting instead of doubting. And third, shunning or turning away from evil. When we look for wisdom like that, God promises to take care of us, and provide the wisdom we need.
