Grace for Our Needs
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16
We can boldly come to God’s throne of grace! What is grace? It can be defined as “God’s unmerited favor.” It is bestowed upon underserving sinners. It is through God’s grace that we have received the beautiful gift of salvation and the removal of all our sin: For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Jesus has made perfect provision for the forgiveness of sin through His sacrifice on the Cross. He has opened the way for us to come to God’s majestic throne room. On this premise of grace, we have full access to His throne of grace. What great encouragement for us! When we find ourselves overwhelmed and in trouble, what can we do? Come boldly to the throne of grace without hesitation.
Come to Jesus, obtain His mercy, and find His grace for whatever is your great need! Do you have a physical need? The great Apostle Paul had a physical need. He prayed for healing. What was given to him? God’s grace was given to help him endure: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). Do you have a financial need? Then hold fast to God’s promise: And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
When you come before God’s throne, you will find an empathetic and compassionate God. Be encourage! He understands your needs. Pray, pray, pray! I assure you, divine help from His throne of grace will be on the way to assist you.
By one hour’s intimate access to the throne of grace, where the Lord causes His glory to pass before the soul that seeks Him you may acquire more true spiritual knowledge and comfort than a day’s or a week’s converse with the best of men, or the most.
