The Love of God Constrains Us

For the love of Christ constrains us; because we judge thus, that one died for all, therefore all died.
2 Corinthians 5:14 (WEB)

What is going to constrain us from leaving Jesus Christ? It is the love of God that constrains us. We know just how much Christ’s love for us was demonstrated when He poured out HIs blood on the Cross for our sins.

Our Christian live has to develop and grow. Are you growing deeper in your relationship with Christ or is your relationship with Him shallow? Listen, if we do not prepare are hearts now by becoming rooted and grounded in the Love of Christ then we are in danger of falling away. Grow to know the love of Christ:

...that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).

When we are well rooted in the love of Christ, there is nothing that will separate us from Him. No matter trial and tribulation that come, know one thing, we will be secure in His love. Consider the truth of our inseparability from Christ:

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:35-39).

Are you persuaded in your heart that nothing can separate you from God? Seriously, in truth, there is only thing that separates us from God and that is sin: But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.

Where do you stand? Separated from God because of your sin, or inseparable from God because you have placed you trust in Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sin?

Should we leave this world unforgiven, it will be a dire event.
