Christ in the Presence of God

For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us....
Hebrews 9:24

Jesus Christ, being superior, did not have to enter the Most Holy Place in the earthly tabernacle, but entered into the heavenly itself!  When Jesus took His last breath and died, what happened next? Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom... (Matthew 27:51). This event signified the access Christ created for us to be able to go before His Father in heaven. Jesus Christ went into heaven itself and appeared in the presence of God for us. He is seated at the right-hand of God and has become our High Priest, our Mediator, and our Intercessor:

Hebrews 10:12: But this Man [Jesus], after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God....

Hebrews 4:14: Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

1 Timothy 2:5: For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus....

1 John 2:1-2: ...if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

Jesus Christ is in heaven, sitting at the right-hand of God the Father, defending us making intercession for us. He has become our lawyer and our defense––so beautiful. Jesus is in the presence of God so that we, one day, may be able to be in the presence of God. Amazing!

It’s a paradise that we are going to go into, because to be in the presence of God itself will be a paradise.
