Separated to the Gospel

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.
Galatians 1:15-17

Paul wanted the believers in Galatia to know his conversion to Christ was genuine. In God’s perfect, divine time, Paul was saved and separated to the call of God, by the grace of God. Paul’s call was divine; he personally met the Risen Christ.

When I came to Christ, just like Paul, I knew in my heart, God had divinely touched my life personally. I cried out to the Lord in a desperate time. He immediately changed me. Even though there was no outward sign of lightning, I knew something deep inside of my heart and mind had changed. It was a step of faith to accept Christ into my life, and I was never the same again. Like Paul, I was to be found preaching the Gospel.

People can witness the effects of the Gospel through a person’s true conversion. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is real. However, when some people come to the altar to accept Christ, their conversion is not always genuine. Accepting Christ as your Savior cannot be only emotional decision. True conversions endure as a Christian begins to read their Bible and remains in fellowship in a Bible-teaching church. Those who have a true conversion will bring forth genuine Christian fruit (John 15).

Do you remember when God called you? You have your own testimony! Every one of us is called to share our faith with someone else. The key in our message is that God called and saved each one of us by His grace.

True revival has always begun with and resulted in separation.
