Spiritual Blessings

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus...
Ephesians 2:4-6

Remember, Christians are a super blessed people! God who is rich in mercy, has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. God has chosen us from the foundation of the world. I love that! I do not fully understand it, but I accept it by faith. We are chosen, predestinated to the praise and glory of His grace (Ephesians 1:4-6). In Him, we have redemption by His blood (Ephesians 1:7), and His precious blood continues to cleanse us from all of our sins (1 John 9-10).

Jesus Christ, One man––died for us. We are set free from sin and serve Him: And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness (Romans 6:18). God has made known to us the mystery of His will (Ephesians 1:9), and in Him we also have obtained an inheritance (Ephesians 1:11). We have trusted the Word of truth, the Gospel, and have been sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14).

In this culture, when a person traveled by ship, at the docks they would have their own stamp, whether a ring or insignia. This was placed into the wax and used as a seal of ownership. Jesus has done this for us! God has sealed us with His Holy Spirit, and He is now the owner of our lives!

Nothing can separate us from Jesus Christ: For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39). Amazing, amazing!

The Father is the source of all blessing, and the Son is the channel of all blessing, [and] it is through the Holy Spirit at work in us that all truth becomes living and operative in our lives.
