The Worst of Fools

The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psalm 14:1 KJV

Today is April Fools’ Day, and although not a legal holiday, it is celebrated across the world.

In this day and age, we are seeing the worst of fools create such chaos in our world. Seriously, it feels as if we are living in a world gone mad! Everything morally right is wrong, and everything wrong is considered right. There is an all-out attack on our children. Who would have thought in our wildest imagination that children would be subjected to Drag Queens perversely performing in front of them in our schools and libraries! That students, as young as kindergarten, would have access to books showing explicit sex. In public schools, they are being sexualized.

Many trains have gone off the rails this year, but morally, as a nation, we have gone off the rails! Innocent children are taught to question their gender. “Are you really a girl, or are you a boy?” Are you telling me that some intelligent doctors, nurses, teachers, politicians, and others adults cannot determine whether a child is a girl or a boy? Certainly, these people have become corrupt in their thinking. They are the worst of fools! Surely, you can agree that these are abominable works.

When people reject God, they will embrace all kinds of confusing philosophies. Satan is the author of confusion. He hates marriage and the family. He has filled the hearts and minds of the ungodly with such hatred for what God has created––a marriage between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:18-24). Within this holy union is the natural ability to have children. Same sex relationships are unnatural (Romans 1).

Perhaps you are ignorant, completely taken in by such foolish, worldly thinking. Wake up to the truth that there is a God. Be wise and seek Him. Read His Word––the Bible. Know Him. The Creator of heaven and earth has an amazing plan and purpose for your life. His Word will cut through the confusion and set your life in order.

Unbelief has put self where God should be, and is perilously close to the sin of Lucifer who said, “I will set my throne above the throne of God.” Faith looks out instead of in and the whole life falls into line.”
