Ready for the Rapture?

Therefore, when they [the disciples] had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.”
Acts 1:6-7

God knows the seasons and times; they are in His authority. He knows when the day of the Rapture will happen, and when the restoration of Israel will occur. Think about it. One morning, those who are not ready may wake up, get in their car, turn on the radio, and hear that there has been a great catastrophe throughout the whole world. Millions of people have disappeared from the earth! This is not a fairy tale––it is prophecy that is accurate. God does not lie; He keeps His Word:

“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19).

Know this: Only those believers who are ready will be taken to heaven in the Rapture. When the last trumpet blows, if you are continuing to live a life of sin, then do not be surprised if you are left behind when the Rapture happens.

In Ecclesiastes 3:1, King Solomon wrote: To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven... King Solomon knew the vanity of life––the complete emptiness of a life without God. People experience a great void in their hearts without Him. Solomon also wisely wrote:

He [God] has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

God’s plan of salvation is seen in the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. God has put eternity in our hearts. When a person finds salvation through Christ, a void is filled in their hearts; and they become part of the bigger picture in the scope of God’s eternal plan. God’s plan is to take His Church––the Bride of Christ––to heaven. Are you ready?

The only reason that men and women can be saved is the fact that God has put eternity in our hearts!
