Looking for Jesus Christ

Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority....”
Acts 1:6-7

I believe, we are living in borrowed times in these Last Days. It could very well be that the next war on earth will be a nuclear war––it will be all buttons! Millions of people are going to die! The Bible tells us the location where Israel will bury their enemies for seven months to cleanse the land. They will have burial teams that will place markers by the bones of those who died. Could this be a nuclear war? (Ezekiel 39:11-15).

I am not looking for nuclear warfare––I am looking for Jesus Christ. We need to keep our eyes on Jesus; He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. One day, God is going to blow His trumpet, and Jesus is going to get His Bride––we shall be out of here: ...in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (1 Corinthians 15:52).

Believers in Christ will be Raptured––taken to heaven. They are not appointed to wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9). During the Great Tribulation period, the Antichrist will declare himself to be God. At the same time, Revelation 12:14 will come into play: But the woman [Israel] was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent [Satan]. Some scholars believe the place they will flee to could be the City of Petra––a refuge built in the rocks (Revelation 12:6). There it is thought that Israel will protected by God for 3½ years.

In the Bible there are prophecies that directly relate to the restoration of Israel. Imagine, they have already become a nation (Ezekiel 36-37, 39). This is not a time to be walking the fence––you cannot be of two opinions. You are either in Christ, or you are not. Make sure you are right with God. You do not want to be left behind! There is so much happening in the world today that you do not want to be caught unaware.

When I look at myself, I do not see how I can be saved, but when I look at Christ, I do not see how I can be lost.
