Advocates promote all the 'benefits' of AI (Artificial Intelligence) - which are many; but many, including those in the industry, are concerned of the dangers. Senate Hearings are debating regulations, while AI chatbots are popping up everywhere, including an AI Jesus. (Hear for yourself). Plus, the ability to accurately mimmick someone's voice and create images better than any photoshopping poses threats to anyone that is a target, politically or in any other arena. Facial recognition for surveillance and we find we are living in what looks like a sci-fi movie. And it's just beginning. Oh, and does the bible foretell AI?

Not just fighting for, but grieving for, your country, comes out of love. The majority of Americans love their country, but not all. Some want to change our flag, or advocate not celebrating the 4th of July at all (wait 'til you hear why). In America it's 'we the people' who are given responsibility to step up to the plate, to speak out, steward and pray for the nation, not wring our hands, or give up or give in. Love endures. Loves works for the good. And love sees and celebrates the good.

This month on our Weekend GODTalk edition of the show we will look at the tactics used to steal our hope, so that we won't have faith, to endure. One tactic is 'deconstructionism' that is slipping into the evangelical church. It's no small thing, and you may be surprised who is participating in it. We need to follow the Bereans' example mentioned in the Book of Acts in the Bible, who took what they heard and measured it by the plumbline of God's Word, to discern, and not be deceived, as Jesus tells us in Matthew 24.
