Daniel 10, Part 2

God hears and answers our prayers. At times He’s say yes and other times no! And sometimes there’s a delay. Maybe like many today you grow impatient at such times. It’s important to realize there’s a good reason for the delay, and that comes to light through our study in Daniel ten on a Daily Walk.

Pastor John Randall visits Daniel ten today. Daniel is about to receive another vision, but before he does he spends a considerable amount of time praying and fasting. And the vision he received was truly amazing. John will share why he believes this was a vision of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Today we take a look at God’s calendar for the nation of Israel. In Daniel nine we read of the 70 weeks of Daniel. Each week is a seven year period, and 69 have already happened. That leaves one seven year period remaining. And today pastor John Randall will share what is going to take place.

How close are we to the coming of Jesus? All the signs around us seem to be pointing to it happening very soon. But before He does there will be a 7 year tribulation period that involves a world leader who will rise to power, and be the embodiment of evil. He’s known as the Antichrist and will be empowered and directed by Satan. This is predicted in the book of Daniel as we’ll see today on a Daily Walk.

Today on a Daily Walk the prophet Daniel is given a dream where he sees several empires and one of them will be under the rule and reign of the antichrist. This will be followed by the fifth and final Kingdom, when Jesus comes again to establish His rule and reign. We’ll hear all about it today as our study of Daniel continues.

We’re in for an exciting study today on a Daily Walk. The Prophet Daniel is about to receive a series of visions and dreams. It points to four great world empires, leading up to Christ’s return and the Kingdom to come!

Don’t love those stories or movies where the good guys win in the end? But in many cases getting to that end can be treacherous. Daniel knew this all too well and perhaps you’re learning this important lesson in life, as well. Daniel has been setup, and persecuted for praying to His God. It appears that he’s going to die a horrible death because of it in a Lion’s Den. But God had other plans.

It’s one thing to serve and obey the Lord when things are going great, but what about when the heat is on and your very own life is threatened if you do? Today on a Daily Walk we’re encouraged to trust and follow the Lord just as Daniel did. He was told not to pray and if he did he’d be thrown into a den of lions. That didn’t deter Daniel as we’ll soon see.

We live in a world that is becoming more and more hostile toward Christians. All around the world we see the persecution of believers growing at an alarming rate. And we even see the beginnings of that here in America. Today on a Daily Walk, Pastor John Randall teaches from Daniel chapter 6 about the persecution of Daniel that landed him in the lion’s den.
